Mindful Movement – An introduction to Dru Yoga Workshop

Dru Yoga is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisations. Whether you are a beginner or have been practicing yoga for a while, the aim of this workshop is to introduce you to your true self, get in touch with your body, emotions and thoughts. To release ‘blockages’ (emotions) that you may have been holding on to, and change negative thoughts with positive affirmations.

During this workshop we will incorporate activations, to loosen and warm up the body, yoga asana’s (postures), a Dru sequence, pranayama (breathing techniques), a short mediation and relaxation.
